Anton Stoianov (born 1978 in Sofia) lives and works in Berlin. He studied at the National Academy of Arts, Sofia, at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, and graduated from the Arts University in Berlin in 2007. He works in the field of painting, object, relief, installation and design. He experimented with different materials and techniques, thus challenging the boundaries of traditional arts and especially the “classic” understanding of painting. He has participated in a numerous exhibitions in Berlin, Vienna, Hamburg, Cologne, Plovdiv. In 2019 (21.06-18.07) he presented FORNOTECA within the project FLUCA – Austrian Cultural Pavilion in Plovdiv with curator Boris Kostadinov. He has worked with xavıerlaboulbenne gallery, Berlin.
