During the art residency at 1646 Experimental Art Space Svetlana Mircheva worked on her project “Possible Exhibitions” developing new ideas for its book publishing and exhibiting. She started an online blog in which she put together Possible Exhibitions drawings and thoughts in order to form the future book in the best way.
She experimented and made book models, shown at her open studio during the residency.

On 2.02.2023 she made a presentation of “Possible Exhibitions” project and her work to art professionals, followed by open studio day, open to general public.

We are pleased to announce that the Experimental Art Space 1646 (https://1646.nl) in The Hague, The Netherlands has selected the Bulgarian artist in residence for 2023, Svetlana Mircheva. She will spend a month there, with the residency focusing on research, work and reflection on the local context.

Structura Gallery and “Lachezar Tsotsorkov” Foundation announce an open call for applications for Bulgarian artists for a one-month residency at Stichting Project Space 1646, The Hague.

The residency will run from January 12th to February 12th, 2023. Artists will receive travel, accommodation, studio, production funds, honoraria.

Applicants should send their portfolio in English in pdf format to: structuragallery@gmail.com.

It must also include a motivation for the residence in a volume of up to 120 words.

The residency is aimed at artists with Bulgarian citizenship, permanently residing in Bulgaria.
