Stanimir Genov is an artist who divides (or unites) his creative activities between the physical and the virtual, between painting and the digital. In recent years, he has been developing projects that spill over from one reality into the other, and attempt to encompass the wide field of experiences that contemporary reality offers us.

His new work is provoked by the triptych Tears, 2022, which captures delicate and changing states of mind in a frozen image. The artist further develops his search through a virtual walk through the fields of meaning. The different media tools not only help him to build new work, but also to go much deeper into emotion.

This interesting experiment continues the conversation about the possibilities of the moving and static image. Through a delicate and profound analysis, Stanimir Genov paves the way into the still unexplored fields of the virtual. The journey we take with him is both technologically attractive and highly emotional.
